The monthly maintenance for Amarel will be on Tues. July 19 and Wed. July 20:

The maintenance will include the following hardware and software tasks:
Hill Ethernet – reconcile switch uplinks and spanning-tree
Configure networking and monitoring for existing Hill Center PDUs
Upgrade Lenovo Amarel equipment to Lenovo Best Recipe 22B (https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/HT513895)
Migrate GPFS client cluster configurations to release=LATEST (minReleaseLevel 5.1.2.0)
Intermittent H/W problems on amarel[1-2]; physically reseat and expel dust around connector

Operating system patching for CentOS/Debian Infrastructure, 202207
The following systems will be patched:
strep
chernobog
biomech
leif2, saul
squid
arba, kirk
wwulfc

A message will be sent to all uses once the maintenance has been completed.
