Caliburn Users,

Caliburn and ELF will be permanently removed from service on Tuesday, August 31.

If you haven’t already, please begin removing any data you wish to retain. The storage systems will be unavailable after these systems are taken offline and data lost will be unrecoverable.

Most of the options for moving data to/from the Amarel system will work for Caliburn as well, so some guidance can be found here: https://sites.google.com/view/cluster-user-guide#h.3jyxmx35y8y2

Caliburn Users,

Further analysis and testing have revealed that the cooling system in the data center is not sufficiently stable to permit continued operation of the Caliburn and ELF systems. As a result, we are very sad to report that those systems will be permanently removed from service on August 31.

Please plan any remaining workflows accordingly and begin removing valuable data from those systems. Data residing there on or after August 31 will be lost.
