RE: Reminder: Amarel-N offline due to Newark campus power outage

Morning,

UPDATE!
As of 6:35 AM the power outage maintenance window has been closed and Newark nodes are available.  Jobs that were in pending (PD) state because of the scheduled outage are running.  Please advise if you encounter any new issues related to this maintenance.

Dear Amarel-N users,

There will be a scheduled overnight power outage occurring at the Rutgers Newark campus which will affect OARC services and Amarel-N use.

Amarel-N will be unavailable beginning Tuesday, 11/16/2021 at 8:00 PM.
OARC services should be back on-line Wednesday, 11/17/2021 at 8:00 AM.

Amarel Users,

We just learned that all buildings on the Newark campus will be affected by a 20 minutes power outage sometime between 1:00 am – 3:00 am on Wednesday 11/17/2021.

We are still unsure how the outage will affect OARC’s systems in Newark (Amarel-N) and will provide updates as we receive more information.
