The OARC Faculty Advisory Committee (FAC) serves as the local Advisory Committee and has been working together for several years, even before the official formation of the Office. This committee functions as a very active interface between faculty who use advanced computing resources, advanced networking, and storage solutions, OARC staff who design and maintain experimental and production advanced computing systems and the supporting cyberinfrastructure, the Senior Vice President for Research and Economic Development, and the Chief Information Officer. Further information regarding the Advisory Committee and the work that they accomplish on behalf of the Rutgers research community, including OARC policy documents and extensive users guides, will be available in the future.
