Hello, Amarel users!  

We are pleased to announce that the Rutgers IT 2022-2023 Annual Report was released, and it highlights many of the Office of Advanced Research Computing (OARC)’s impressive accomplishments over the past fiscal year. We are proud to be able to provide services and support to help you perform life-changing research. 

Below is a summary of OARC’s achievements featured in the report:   

• Amarel has surpassed 2 BILLION+ compute hours, with over 4,800 Rutgers faculty, staff, and students putting it to work for research, training, and education purposes. 
• 365+ Rutgers departments, institutes, and organizations perform research on systems maintained by OARC.
• $66.6+ million dollars in new research awards for OARC-partnered projects since March 2016.
• 1800+ faculty, staff, and students from 200+ departments across Rutgers campuses have attended high performance computing training since inception in 2017.
